6/28/2018 1 Comment How to Stay Well in the Heat.![]() We are having a heatwave! I love it, and as a generally chilly person, it is the ultimate luxury to feel so warm. But we all need to adapt a little to keep ourselves well. Getting enough water is paramount of course. You don’t need to drink continuously, but letting yourself get thirsty isn’t a good idea. If you feel drained and tired by the afternoon reach for a glass of water, take a refillable metal bottle out with you and to work ( no need to add to the plastic problem) Plenty of healthy plant-based foods contain water too, think of cucumber and watermelon.
